About the Role
As a Junior Technician at Home Appliance Care, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians to learn the trade while diagnosing and repairing a wide range of home appliances—including washers, dryers, dishwashers, range ovens, garbage disposals, refrigerators, and freezers.
You’ll communicate directly with customers to understand their concerns, explain repairs clearly, and ensure they feel confident in the work being done. You’ll maintain accurate records of service calls, parts used, and work performed, while adhering to safety protocols at all times. You’ll also collaborate with our Dispatch team, receiving job assignments through our software, via text, and verbally, working together to streamline processes and deliver efficient, high-quality service.
Your Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing various home appliances alongside senior technicians
- Communicating effectively with customers to understand and address their concerns
- Maintaining accurate records of service calls, parts used, and work performed
- Adhering to safety protocols and regulations while performing repair and maintenance tasks
- Collaborating with team members to streamline processes and improve service efficiency
- Receiving job calls from our Dispatch team through our software, text, and verbally

- Basic mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience (formal experience is a plus, but not required)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Your own basic tools (we provide training, software, dispatch support, and parts)
- A professional, friendly attitude and respect for customers' homes
